Challenges faced by Client:
Frequent breakdowns at their distribution centers resulting in delayed dispatches. client invested on many standby MFPs/Printers but the problem continued
Study & Analysis:
Accel did a thorough study of the client’s existing infra and found the following
- Many of the MFPs crossed the prescribed life/ capacity.
- Many MFPs are not equipped to meet the print volumes of the clients.
- No plan to meet the sessional hike in Printing volumes.
- Clients depend on multiple suppliers and service providers.
Basis the above Study & Analysis our solution architect identified business critical MFPs call volumes(Regular & Seasonal) and Proposed MFPs of correct size and fallbacks in case of urgencies.
Solution Provided:
- Existing client printers have been replaced with higher capacity printers adequate spares and consumables are stocked at all key locations.
- Accel deployed a few resident engineers to train the admin staff of the client on basic support and provide necessary technical support without delay
Result:
- Breakdown calls have come down significantly. Minor complaints are rectified by client admins themselves and technical support requirements are addressed by resident engineers without delay.
- Stand-by Units were reduced by 80% and the cost of printing was reduced by more than 27%.
- Accel replaced all the legacy printers of the client over a 3 years period and bright all MFPs under a print management solutions
