The story of Accel is that of an IT Service pioneer serving the Indian IT industry landscape over 33 years with a vision to attain leadership in service quality and value to its customers.

In 1991, when the Indian IT services industry was in its nascent stage, several start-up ventures got formed to provide multi vendor IT Infrastructure Services as an alternative to original equipment manufactures(OEM) exorbitant rates for post warranty services and their monopoly.  Realizing the business potential in this area, N R Panicker, an IT professional with several years of computer maintenance experience, turned entrepreneur along with few of his colleagues who had worked with in Hindustan Computer Limited(HCL) and founded Accel. Hands-on experience and strong commitment to customer satisfaction, helped Accel to grow fast to became a trusted name in the multi-vendor IT service industry.

The company has evolved over the years, to became a diversified technology services company having long term partnerships with customers and global technology leaders. The robust structure and resilient nature of the company allowed for timely adoption of emerging technologies and contemporary delivery models. Paradigm shifts that resulted in infrastructure moving to the cloud and the proliferation cyber threats and resultant emergence of cyber security practices, saw Accel grow its competencies in multiple domains.
